JOKJIM COMPANY LIMITED an indigenous Ghanaian company was founded by Joseph Aleawobu in the year 2008. As a market leader in the Port Reception Services at the Tema Port, the Jokjim company has lived up to the industry requirements of Port Reception Services.

From it's humble beginnings the JokJim company has incorporated a sister company, The Smile Company limited which buys and sells RFO to various factories in Tema.


The objective of JOKJIM COMPANY LTD is to run a customer-focus business in

the Port Reception Industry in Ghana in line with the Marpol 73/78 treaty. Jokjim company shall commit all its natural, economic, financial and any other resources needed to pursue this venture to ensure that the company grows to attain a multinational status. iv.           Permit to operate at the Main Harbor, Fishing Harbor and Anchorage

Mr. Joseph Aleawobu holds intermediate and advanced certificate in welding from Kpando and Tema Technical Institute schools respectively. He later participated in an Entrepreneurial Workshop organized by the University of Ghana business school where he was awarded with a certificate of participation in Entrepreneurship .He doubles as the chief Executive of Jim transport, Jok Jim company Limited and Smile oil  Co. Ltd. He has been in the helm of affairs for these companies for the past 15 years.

Mrs Dorinda Akorfa Aleawobu

Director/Gen. Manager, Finance & Admin.


Mrs. Dorinda Akorfa Aleawobu holds MBA in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University,UK. Mrs Dorinda Aleawobu graduated from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a background in Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting. She has worked with JOK Jim and Smile oil since.

Mr. Eric Worchie

Finance Manager


Mr. Eric Worchie Holds MBA in Finance and Banking from Paris Graduate School of Management. He also has international Professional Post Graduate Diploma in Management from UK and a member of the International Professional Managers Association (IPMA UK).He had previously worked as treasury Manager and Financial Accountant for the Ghana Agro Food Company.

Captain Godson Alifoe





Captain Godson Allifoe holds various certificates of STCW 78/95 from the Maritime University  in various areas such as survival craft & rescue boats, Advance Fire Fighting, Medical first Aid and Medical care, Familiarization and basic Safety training certificates, Human Element, Leadership and Management etc. He has all the mandatory safety certificates from the Ghana Maritime Authority.

He has vast experience in tanker operations worldwide.

Ing. Moses Wudu

Chief Engineer (MT SEGULLAH)


Ing Moses Wudu holds a class 3 Marine Engineers certificate of competency (Foreign –Going Unlimited) from the Maritime University. He is also STCW 2010 Compliant (A-111/1. He holds all the IMO Mandatory Safety Certificates from the Ghana Maritime Authority. He has worked extensively worldwide as Chief Engineer in various tankers and Fishing Vessels worldwide

Mr. Aaron Asante-Addai


Mr. Aaron Asante-Addai is an Environmental and Social Safeguards Expert with about 20 years’ experience. He has considerable experience in environmental management, and has successfully undertaken over 100 environmental assessment projects. He has worked extensively in the West African sub-region in the energy sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Social Policy Studies.
